Squat, Bench, Push Press w/Pulldowns, Run


SWOD:
Squat, Bench, 3 x 5
DWOD:
AMRAP 20”
1 x push press
1 x weighted pull up
3 x push press
3 x wpu
5 x pp
5 x wpu


So the sheet said, “Add 5 lbs.” for both bench and squat.  Ended up being more, since we don’t have anything smaller than a 2.5kg weight here.  Kind of fun getting into the kg stuff, makes me feel like I’m getting there on the Oly lifts.  Right…then someday I’ll actually find a coach and just get my form trashed. 
Overall this felt good, think I could have gone heavier on the push press…I know I was using my back too much to clean them for the first couple of rounds.
I also did 3 x 10’s with lighter weight, since without a squat rack I’m having to clean the weight each time, and that’s no fun for anyone at heavier weights.  Someday I’ll have a squat rack to work with, but for now I’ll work with what’s on hand.
Did move up in both bench and squat…next lift I should be closer to 200’ on the bench portion, and that’s kind of a cool thing.
Ran a mile…been a minute since I managed to do a whole mile.
Bleah.
But, I did manage to get a mile, and that’s someplace to start.  Can practically guarantee I’m the only one on my street who’s up to that, too…not sure what that really says about anything, but it is the truth for certain sure.
