Weight/Tape, Power Cleans, 40's

A lot better than last week, but this was week 1 virtually grainless and carbless. Started working again on the vegetables, but they suck here, and I hate them anyway. Usually salads. No cereals, which is a step, but there were some éclair-type desserts here yesterday. Usually their desserts here are so-so…these were really good. Some cake the 2 days before: someone’s birthday and someone’s engagement. Plus cookies. Yikes, it’s not sounding so good. Tracked every day but Thursday, since Thursday night was a BBQ with a couple of beers, brisket, potato salad, and a bun for the pulled pork sandwich. I knew if I logged all the calories, it would just depress me. So I did the weigh-in, and things were better than I’d hoped for. Here’s to 230 this next week.

SWOD:
5x3 Power Cleans @ 50kg – not getting under the bar, still moving toward it at the bottom of the squat. Working on the mechanics, and thinking about it, but need to move body under faster.

WOD:
10 x 40’s, rest as needed: did these w/1 min. rest each. Average 8 secs., so that’s not shabby.
